Run for fun, stand for community - Grecian Magnesite supported the 8th Polygyros Run, Chalkidiki

This Fall started with an event that celebrated sports and community spirit!  

The 8th annual Polygyros Run Chalkidiki took place on Sunday, September 1, 2024, with the participation of over 300 enthusiastic participants of all ages, organized by the Chalkidiki Health Runners Association in collaboration with local authorities and other associations.

The Run hosted three races, all starting and finishing at the prominent Heroes Square: the 5 km Health Run running or power walking, the 14.6 km Mountain-City Run, and the 1km Children's Run for the youngest 8 to 12 years athletes. 

As we had done all the previous years, we were once again the event's main sponsor, which promotes healthy living, volunteerism, and the beautiful natural landscape of Chalkidiki. 

We want to thank all participants, including our Grecian Magnesite members who joined the Run and organizers, for their sportsmanship, pure enthusiasm, and unwavering spirit of togetherness.
