VitalMag® 96 is a super white, light-burned magnesium oxide powder of high purity, controlled physical properties and remarkably low iron content (170 ppm Fe) and trace element. Its high biological availability makes it an effective magnesium source/dietary supplement of livestock conforming to all relevant EU regulations for animal feedstuff:
Council Directive 2002/32/EC, 2012/277/EC, 2012/744/EC, 2013/1275/EC, 2015/186/EC, 2017/2229/EC and 2019/1869/EC for undesirable substances. Council directive: 767/2009/EC (feed regulation) and 183/2005/EC (feed hygiene).
VitalMag® 96 is carefully controlled during the beneficiation, calcination and sizing steps, under ISO and GMP+ standards to ensure consistency and reliability at all stages of production.

Packaging & Storage
VitalMag® 96 is available in powder form & packed: In big bags, with or without bottom spout. In 25kg paper bags on pallets, covered with shrink film.
VitalMag® 96 has a shelf life of 12 months provided that the product is stored in a clean dry storage area and is protected from moisture with PE-foil. Magnesium oxide absorbs moisture from the air and forms lumps. Always re-seal partly used pallets and single bags with PE-foil.

Calf Milk Replacement
MgO is used as an Mg source in calf-milk replacement for the production of white meat. Calf milk replacers are dry powder mixes with main ingredients, skimmed milk, vegetables, vitamins, minerals, dry fats and magnesium oxide.
