Grecian Magnesite S.A. │ Green Certificate of Energy 2020 - 2021

 

Athens, Greece -- September 10, 2021 -- Grecian Magnesite S.A. (“GM”), a leading manufacturer of magnesite and its compounds, has recently announced the receipt of Green Certificate of Energy for the electricity consumed by the company during 2020-2021 (June 2020 – May 2021).

The Green Certificate confirms that for the electricity consumed by the company (24552 MWh – Yerakini Mines & Works) an equal amount of energy has been generated from renewable sources and has been committed through the Electricity Market Operator (guarantees of origin).

The Green Certificate demonstrates the company’s commitment in reducing its energy footprint and minimizing CO₂ emissions.
