Better Life with MgO - Final Workshop

The project’s third and final workshop was held in Thessaloniki, on December 17^th 2019, at the conference center of CERTH (Centre for Research and Technology Hellas) in order to present the final results of the project.

The attendance at the Workshop was satisfactory, with the participation of 50 students, researchers and university faculty.

After the event, a visit of the pilot plant took place, which included a detailed tour of the installation, the control room and the rotary kiln.

Better Life with MgO (LIFEPOSITIVEMgOFGD) is about the design, construction and operation of a novel air pollution abatement process which reduces the sulphur oxide levels in industrial flue gas emissions.
