Grecian Magnesite’s 1MW solar park powers up in Yerakini

Athens, Greece -- August 08, 2023 -- Grecian Magnesite is excited to announce the successful connection of its 1MW solar park in Yerakini, Chalkidiki, Northern Greece, to the national grid.

Harnessing the boundless potential of solar power, the newly operational park is projected to yield an annual output of 1,500,000 kWh. By curbing reliance on traditional energy sources, the solar park is projected to diminish carbon emissions by an estimated 516 tons annually - based on the carbon intensity of Greece’s energy mix.
