The GRECMAGN^® TUN CS series exhibits excellent wear resistance and refractory properties, tailored to meet the demanding requirements of tundish operations. Paired with our advanced CS ArmMixer, it provides an efficient and reliable solution for tundish applications.

There are 2 types/technologies of cold setting dry vibrating masses: 

Cold-Setting Dry Mass with Water Addition:

This type contains special, eco-friendly additives and is mixed with water (1-2%) during application. It sets at room temperature, offering several key advantages: 

Environmental:

• No heating or pre-heating required, significantly reducing energy consumption
• Minimal water consumption (1,5-2%)
• Free of additives such as liquid sodium silicate, triacetin, or ester, making it an eco-friendly option

Health & Safety:

• Simplified handling with no complex dosing devices, reducing operator risks
• Utilizes a water-based binding system, avoiding the use of chemicals

Cost Efficiency:

• Fast application (under 20 minutes)
• Ready-to-use working lining in less than 1 hour, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity

Cold-Setting Dry Mass with Liquid Chemicals Addition:

This type contains no additives and is mixed with a solution of sodium silicate and an ester during application. The setting of the working lining occurs at room temperature, without drying.

Packaging & Storage

GRECMAGN^® TUN CS series of products are available: in 500kg, 1.000kg or 1.500kg big bags with or without inner nylon, with or without bottom spout, on any kind of wooden pallet, according to customer’s requirements.

The products have a shelf life of 6 months, provided that they are stored in a clean, dry storage area under proper conditions.
